FDC members appear in Court and 20 have been detained in anknown place.

Asuman Ssemakula, a driver to FDC’s Kizza Besigye and other party members detained at the RRU base at Kireka were today taken to Makindye Magistrate’s Court on unknown charges.
According the Inter-Party Cooperation communication bureau, Ssemakula and James Ssekidde were arrested at Busega Polling Station while Amuza Luaga, Tom Kazibwe and Bogere Kalinda were arrested at a polling center in Kabowa. But they have not assertained the name of the sixth person yet.
The six were briefly detained at Natete, then transferred to Katwe and finally at Rapid Response Unit in Kireka.
FDC’s Director for Security Salim Angoliga spent the whole day at Kireka but was denied to an opportunity to see the detainees. But party officials say that they have information that the detainees have been tortured.
Meanwhile twenty FDC youth (MUK Chapter) led by Atenyi Kyomuhendo were intercepted yesterday while travelling back to Kampala from Hoima. Party officials say that they have no idea where the youth are being detained. They had gone to give support to members of FDC in Hoima. Police says they have do not have an idea about the case.
